Overview
An interactive visualization that explores John Berger's "Ways of Seeing" through dynamic particle systems and touch interactions. Each color represents a different type of perception, creating a physical and intuitive way to engage with complex ideas about art, beauty, and visual culture.
The Challenge
How can we transform John Berger's complex ideas about perception and art into an interactive experience that engages viewers both intellectually and emotionally?
The Approach
We created a dynamic particle system where each color represents a different type of perception: Yellow for Sight, Orange for Art, Pink for Beauty, Purple for Images, Blue for Reality, and Green for Meaning.
The Solution
The installation uses touch interactions to transform words into colored particles. As viewers interact with the text, they physically engage with Berger's ideas, creating a bridge between theory and experience.
The Impact
The project successfully made abstract concepts tangible and interactive. Viewers reported a deeper understanding of Berger's ideas through their physical interaction with the work.
